I had never really looked into universal sims and just found what I assume you use or at least a similar item. Think I'll order a couple of those to test with some old androids I have.
As for the join link, Ive never been able to get that to work. The links for events when I test it just go to a blank screen and it doesnt add anyone.
We already have email, discord, phone number of everyone playing so thats not really an issue. If there was some way in advance as the game master to create the platoon and squad level leaders and send them links that would be an amazing improvement in the setup of the game. If squad leaders want to invite more after that then they can and that would be easy.
Everybody is already using the Share Link feature to invite players in advance, usually by sharing the link through WhatsApp.
Let's focus on resolving the issue you're experiencing. If you could send us a screen recording or a few screenshots showing exactly what's happening, we'll be able to pinpoint the problem much more quickly.
