POI's not showing during game.
Good morning all,
I am looking for some advice with the app; I have created the map with all the POI's I require on the desktop, and then start an event from the app using said map.
I enter in to the game editor and make the adjustments to start /end time etc and set the Min POI level to 'Soldier' (so anyone with a rank should be able to see the POI's), however, when we start the game there are no POI's showing for anyone (even when I swap from GM to General etc), the POI's also do not show up when using the desktop to review past events??
Can anyone tell me and the team what we are doing wrong?
For sure you should see all the POIs draw it on the map. A quick review of the steps to use a map in an event:
- Create a new map on ares-alpha website: https://www.ares-alpha.com/map-browser
- Create a new game and select the previously created map
- Save the game and scan from the app the game QR code.
- GM should see all the POIs on the map.
If still doesn't work, please send us on [email protected] an invitation to your game to check it.

I am now able to see the POI's in game play, but they do not show during play back as this is not a feature at this time.
I am looking forward to seeing this addition in the future though as it will really be useful when reviewing games with the team.
