New game modes for the ATB

Quote

I think this will be aweomse. It goes something like this:

  1. Imagine a domination mode where players fight multible ATBS spread across the map. Lets say we sat them a three boxes, To win, you don’t just capture them—you have to hold all three at once to start ganing points. You can even set a parameter for time. Hold all three boxes for 10 minutes too first gain points or flat out win the game., It’s a mode that pushes teamwork, strategy, and constant action, keeping players on the edge until the very last second.

Iam positive that this mode will be great.

    2.

In bomb mode, you can assign multiple arming (or maybe even disarming codes) codes to the same ATB. For example, four unique codes—one for each team (red, blue, green, and yellow). When a team reaches the box, they must enter their specific arming code to activate the bomb, then defend it until the timer runs out. This forces every team not only to take control of the box but also to protect their own arming sequence against the others.

    Have a good one

I'm considering buying into this system for Domination paintball.

I'd like to know what's possible since my head is spinning when I look at this and there's not a lot of detail on YT.

Questions I have.

#1 Could we for example, have a count down to Victory when one team controls 2/3 pts for X time?

#2 Is it possible for a "single person" to control this mode from a "single unit" for example by having players simply communicate by radio when a point is captured? Because just having a simple app for this would honestly be enough for me, but if this box does that thing I might be willing to buy in.

#3 Could these units function for domination mode "without satellite", within say -500m X -500 area.  Or maybe even 250m X 250m would be enough.

Hello,
The full props manual is available here: https://docs.ares-alpha.com/ares-alpha-props-manual-en/
To address your specific questions:

#1 Points collected by the electronic props are synchronized and displayed in the Ares Alpha app. When you end the game, you simply total the points for each team.

#2 A team can consist of a single player, if that is what you are asking.

#3 By “satellites,” I assume you mean an online Internet connection. Multiple ATBs can operate offline and synchronize total points via a local LoRa mesh. Depending on the field topology, an area of 500 m × 500 m is entirely feasible.

#1 By pts. I meant locations, sorry for the confusion. 3 Fixed position Flags for example. Whichever team controls only 1 of 3 is on a Count Down to defeat. IE 20 minutes to turn the table by capturing another flag.

#2 No, I mean can a Person ( non player ) sit in the safe area and push a button on the machine when A, B, or C Flag has changed hands, simply informed via a radio message from the player who captured the position. And by this have the Machine automatically restart the count down timer. I mean I can basically achieve the same with a stop watch and a magnetic board, but I'm just wondering.

#3 Perfect, this sounds promising.
